Questions for Tim Thomas

I am very upset with Tim Thomas and his selfish refusal to accept our Nation's honor to visit the White House to celebrate with his teammates the Bruins Stanley Cup Championship.  Here's his statement posted to his Facebook site

I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.
This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.
Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.
This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT

I would like to hear from Mr. Thomas as to which parts of government he would cut immediately. What analysis would be done to guide him in his beliefs? What preparation would he undertake for implementation of his cuts? What would he do to mitigate the damage done to the nation from the unintended (or intended) consequences of draconian slashing of services. Toss those recently housed veterans on the streets! Who needs jobs programs? I've got a job stopping pucks! Are there no workhouses? Are there no jails? Oh wait, those are part of government. How about the MBTA? Maybe we can all walk to the Garden. How about the police escorts?? That's government too.
